As many of you know, I’ve been devoting most of my free time to the book. It has been a tremendous undertaking, not so much in physical as in mental effort. I have literally had to hijack my mind each day to get even 1 minute of writing done.
I’ve learned that the more you think about a long-term goal without taking corresponding action, the more it grows into a terrifying edifice incapable of being brought down.
Why would you even continue, you might say, when you know it can’t be done? Why would you go through even more strain, more effort, more pain? For what? Will it even be worth it?
When you get locked into this mindset, there is a way out. The key is to understand that the payoff doesn’t just come at the end of your journey. Every step forward pays you in confidence, in skill, and most importantly, in spirit.
Keep going my friend.
