Thoughts are things. Any thought, good or bad, repeated often enough and with enough emotion will eventually manifest itself as its real-world equivalent. If you think back to your past, you will find this to be true.

Why do I write this blog?
I write it to motivate, to move, to change, to inspire–not just you, dear reader, but also myself. I write because the act of writing clarifies my ideas. It organizes them, brings my awareness to them, and affirms them.

I like to think of myself as a mechanic working to convert my mind into an engine of success. Like a piston pumping back and forth in perfect rhythm, I want my mind to produce the results I want, when I want it, and with predictable consistency. I want this because I understand that my role models did not get that way by making success a one-off mark, but by making it an unshakable habit. (more…)
